Vural YILDIRIM

  VURAL YILDIRIM Vural YILDIRIM is a prominent Turkish academic and author in the field of music philosophy. He completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory, in the Department of Ethnomusicology and Folklore. His academic work focuses on music philosophy, aesthetics, folk music, and popular music, and he has written extensively on these subjects. Yıldırım co-authored the book Introduction to the Philosophy of Music ( Müzik Felsefesine Giriş ) with Tarkan Koç. The work is considered one of the significant contributions to the field of music philosophy in Turkey and was published by Bağlam Publishing. He is also known for his book The İsmail Tunalı Book ( İsmail Tunalı Kitabı ). Actively involved in academic publishing, Yıldırım is one of the editors of Bağlam Publishing’s Music Sciences Series.
